I'm Pete Blay, the Editor of Shoot59.com, and in my blog I hope to bring you some really interesting stuff - from celebrity interviews, stories and anecdotes from the world of golf, to my views on the latest equipment on the market, where I'll do my best to give you a balanced opinion from the perspective of a 6-handicapper!
As far as equipment testing is concerned, if you're a better player and want the opinion of a Pro, check out John Bullen's blog. John's a PGA Pro with a superb history as a golf teacher/coach. He certainly knows his stuff.
If you're at the other end of the scale and the thought of hitting a club with a stiff shaft and 9.5 degree of loft makes you go cold then check out John Shenton's blog. John plays off 15 and will be reviewing everything suited for mid to high handicappers - particularly clubs with regular flex shafts and and a minimum of 10.5 degrees of loft!
